Joy in Medicine 2019
What it means to be Oaky: All Oakies are mission-driven individuals who strive to go above and beyond to support their coworkers and our patients. We work as a team and across disciplines to rebuild healthcare as it should be.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion make us stronger. That’s why we champion it at Oak Street Health, and support Oakies from all walks of life. Some of our people resource groups at Oak Street Health include: Womens PRG, Parent’s PRG, LGBTQIA PRG, Female Minorities in Medicine, Alliance Network, and more.
At Oak Street Health, you’ll feel empowered to build relationships with your patients - allowing you to provide better care and helping them live healthier
While the typical primary care panel in the U.S. is around 2,500 patients for a single physician, our panels at Oak Street Health are around 500-750 for a team. This creates an opportunity to spend more time with patients, build deeper relationships, and to better execute/coordinate care plans.
We’re rebuilding healthcare as it should be. Since our founding in 2012, our mission has been to build a primary care delivery platform that directly addresses rising costs and poor outcomes, two of the most pressing challenges facing the United States healthcare industry.
