ChristianaCare is currently recruiting for a part time Respiratory Therapist to provide service to all areas of the hospital, including adult and infant critical care units, medical-surgical floors and emergency care. This position will provide services to the Respiratory Care Department in the ChristianaCare Union Hospital- Cecil location.

There are opportunities to become a member of one of the most involved departments in innovative therapy and research in a respected environment where you are valued as part of the multidisciplinary team.

Schedule includes working every third weekend and possibly some day shifts.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of an Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy or Graduate of CoArc approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
Licensure in the State of Maryland required.
Greater than 6 months experience preferred.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Maintains active CRT and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials.

-Maintains current BLS certification.

-Maintains current NRP certification within 90 days of hire.

-Current AARC Member preferred.
