Your day.

As a Clinical RN Manager you need to know how to:

• Provide input into nursing and organizational strategic plan for service growth and development.


• Manage unit productivity to expected standards in collaboration with CNO.


• Investigate all major complaints, develop action plan in collaboration with clinical staff, and report findings and expected action items to director timely.


• Interview, hire and facilitate orientation process for all new hires in coordination w/the HR and nursing education.


• Coach mentor and counsel staff related to performance issues utilizing PMI process to give feedback and establish action plans.


• Identify special needs of patients, co-workers, physicians and their staff and communicate these to other team members.


• Participate in the development and management of best practice guidelines, using evidenced based approach specific to area of the specialty, to ensure standards of care are being met.


• Maintain financial accountability for assigned departments and functions within established budget.

Your experience.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, required


• Bachelorâ™s Degree in a health-related or business field, required


• Masterâ™s Degree, preferred


• Current Montana RN license or eligible to obtain, required


• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required


• At least two (2) years of experience in a leadership role, preferred
