This position is located at the Indianapolis Richard L. Roudebush VAMC and is organizationally aligned under the PCS Critical Care Service. The incumbent assesses, plans, implements, supervises, teaches, evaluates and documents patient care. The ICU/Stepdown Unit has a total capacity of 45 inpatient beds where both Medical and Surgical patients are admitted. The Critical Care RN will work on both ICU and Stepdown Units following a rotating process. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
