Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center is the newest addition to the Penn State Health system. SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Neurodiagnostic/EEG technologist performs testing to measure and record electrical activity of the brain. This data is interpreted by the neurologist and used to assist in diagnosis and monitoring of patients with neurological disorders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
High school diploma or equivalent required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Completion of Neurodiagnostic Tech program required within six months of hire.
Minimum one (1) year prior experience preferred.
Registration in EEG and/or Evoked Potential by ABRET preferred.
