The UTMB Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine (PCCSM) is seeking a full-time faculty candidate to join our growing Division. The PCCSM Division at UTMB Health is dedicated to the prevention and treatment of respiratory diseases through our clinical, educational, and research missions. We provide comprehensive diagnosis and management for a broad range of respiratory diseases, offer outstanding clinical care for patients with respiratory disorders, and serve as a resource to regional physicians who share in the care of patients with respiratory diseases. We offer comprehensive outpatient services throughout the area. Our three sleep laboratories are located on the Galveston and Angleton Danbury campuses, with another convenient center in Webster.
Physician faculty positions available in OP and ICU. MICU coverage is 26 weeks (12-hour shifts) and will cover both inpatient and outpatient clinical activities. All positions will participate in the educational activities of the department. The successful candidates will have an established interest in health services research, a record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, and a desire to compete for extramural funding.
