Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking a part-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join a well-established Emergency Medicine department serving patients from across Humboldt Country. This is a fast-paced environment where candidates must have at least two years of experience in advanced urgent care or in an emergency department. Additionally, candidates must be capable and comfortable performing all basic ER procedures including suturing and I&D. The team is highly supportive and collegial and there is always one to three physicians on staff at any time. • Part-time at 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week)
• Highly supportive and multidisciplinary team
• New grads may apply however, experienced candidates must have at least 2 years of advanced urgent care/emergency department experience with documented case logs
• Must be comfortable with all basic ER procedures
• Compensation is between $152,292 and $199,333 per year
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above
