DescriptionUnder the direction of the nurse, performs basic patient care related tasks that contributes to the maintenance of a safe and comfortable patient environment that is conducive to healing. RequirementsEDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent. CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: BLS certification required. Certified nursing assistant certification required. Each specialty unit may require additional certification.SKILLS: Must be able to pass skills competency checklist as required by each unit. Must be able to read, speak and write English fluently.EXPERIENCE: Six months in a healthcare related field.NATURE OF SUPERVISION
