Job SummaryDenver Health Medical Center is recruiting for an intermittent physician to join our Emergency Medicine Department. The Emergency Medicine Physician makes immediate medical decisions and acts to prevent death or further disability. The incumbent provides immediate recognition, evaluation, care, stabilization, and disposition of patients, practicing evidence-based, high-quality state-of-the art medicine employing a wide degree of creativity and latitude.The Emergency Medicine Physician directs emergency medical staff in an emergency department to optimize coordination of care between nurses, assistants, specialists, residents, and other medical staff.Physicians at Denver Health are faculty members of the University of Colorado School of Medicine serve as teachers for students seeking clinical experience at Denver Health and provide education for post graduate medical trainees.Essential Functions:
