We are seeking an enthusiastic experienced Nurse Practitioner who has great clinical and interpersonal skills to join our Critical Care / ICU team at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono in scenic East Stroudsburg, PA.

Job Responsibilities:

LVH-Pocono ICU is a 12-bed inpatient unit that sees a mix of critical care and trauma patients. You will join two other APCs and a group of intensivists as well as a highly skilled team of Magnet designated registered nurses. Our ICU is a modern space with spacious rooms and innumerable resources. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in an intensive care unit as a clinician as well as a strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

• This position is full time, 12-hour shifts with a rotational schedule consisting of days, nights, and weekends
• Help assess, evaluate, diagnose, and develop a treatment plan for patients
• Be the advocate for patients and their families and deliver the best patient care experience
• Opportunity for participation in Quality Improvement projects and committees

Job Qualifications:

• Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Must have ICU experience as a CRNP
• Strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• A current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania or the ability to obtain one is required
