The Division of Medical Critical Care within the Department of Pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School is recruiting a pediatric intensivist with board certification/eligibility in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine to provide care in the PICU at Boston Medical Center and the Medical ICU at Boston Children's.
This position is primarily focused on clinical care and supervision of residents and medical students with opportunity to expand interests in quality, leadership or research in conjunction with Boston Children's faculty. Boston Medical Center, the primary site of practice, includes a 4-bed ICU caring for both medical and surgical pediatric patients in the region’s main safety net hospital, with 57% of patients coming from underserved populations. The second site of practice, Medical ICU at Boston Children's, is a 22-bed unit caring for the most acute and complex medical ICU patients in a leading freestanding children’s hospital.
The position includes an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School at the level of full or part-time Instructor or Assistant/Associate Professor.
