As a faculty member in the Department of Surgery, you will join an outstanding multi-disciplinary surgical and critical care team as an intensivist in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit in the New Heart and Vascular Surgery Tower. There are opportunities for rotations in the Thoracic and Vascular Units on a rotational basis with your colleagues. Your primary clinical mission is provide critical care for the Cardiac Surgery patients. UF Health is a major referral Center for Complex Cardiac Surgery for the SouthEast including aneurysms, dissections, minimally invasive and transcatheter valves etc. The team is supported with excellent mid-level providers and residents as part of the Hospital Critical Care Organization.
