About This Position
ChristianaCare is looking for an experienced leader to support our organizational mission and to further enhance the capabilities of our accounting and finance team. The primary responsibility of this role includes overseeing the month end financial close and reporting process for the Medical Group at ChristianaCare. Other key responsibilities include performing financial planning and analysis related to operational budgets, new providers / physician practices and physician performance metrics. Desired candidates will possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting (Master's degree in related field and/or professional certification is strongly desired). 7-10 years of professional experience related to accounting and financial analysis is required as well as healthcare / physician practice experience. Experience in large, highly matrixed organizations preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
