1-year ECLS/CTICU fellowship. This is a non-ACGME fellowship designed to provided dedicated cognitive and psychomotor training in the specifics of cardiothoracic critical care. The trainee will spend 1 year immersed in our 28-bed high-volume CTICU. In additional to gaining subspeciality experience with cardiothoracic critical care (cardiogenic shock, post-cardiotomy, heart transplant, lung transplant, etc.) trainees will learn clinical and procedural skills necessary to apply and manage the highly-specialized therapies of extracorporeal life support and mechanical circulatory support.
