Position Information:WakeMed is currently seeking a surgeon for our expanding team based at the WakeMed Cary hospital. Ideal candidate will be fellowship trained in Surgery Critical Care with at least 3-5 years-experience in Acute Care Surgery and Trauma. Expectations are a blend of inpatient and ED management with general and trauma patients. Additional opportunity for elective surgeries are available.Support and coverage is provided by 5-6 additional general, specialty or acute care surgeons within the general surgery/trauma division, some based at Cary and others on coverage rotation from the WakeMed Raleigh based Team.
