Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center, a planned 341,000-square-foot acute care hospital, will enhance an already vibrant network of primary and specialty care providers across Lancaster County. The new hospital will feature 129 private inpatient beds, an emergency department, physician offices, various specialty inpatient services, an imaging lab, and complete medical and surgical capabilities. Expanding this footprint will help ensure residents of these communities have access, quality, and choice of care as close to home as possible.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment required.
BLS is required prior to orientation completion.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Six months of RN experience preferred
