BP5 is a 20 Bed private room medical/surgical, trauma-step down/telemetry unit. We care for a diverse adult population that includes trauma, and/or medical-surgical/telemetry patients. We are newly renovated with state-of-the-art equipment and have many resources including imbedded care management/social workers, and PT/OT. Additionally, vascular access team, lift team and transport teams, as well as, wound ostomy nurses support the functions of our unit.
BP5 welcomes new team members with or without experience. The staff and leadership team members are ready and experienced to help you guide your healthcare professional journey with opportunities for professional development and growth.
Staff members have opportunity to participate in unit based shared governance councils/committees which includes a Unit Practice Council and Scheduling committee. Many of our staff members sit on unit and hospital wide councils. We encourage staff to be actively involved in their work environment in keeping with a Magnet culture.
