SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Penn State Health has an opportunity for a qualified Physician Assistant to join the Neuro-Critical Care team at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. This position will be providing inpatient coverage in the Neuroscience Critical Care Unit managing the care of critically ill neurosurgical or neurological patients. The PA will provide care in collaboration with the neuro-critical care team, neurology, and neurosurgery. The NCCU offers a supportive and dynamic work environment that is collaborative and fosters autonomy. The individual will join a team of 3 physicians and 8 APPs. The PA provides round the clock coverage and will work a varied schedule of days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends, and on unit call requirements. The individual will be enjoy flexibility in scheduling and opportunities for professional growth. Prior experience working in critical care as a Physician Assistant is required. Prior experience working in neuroscience is encouraged but not required.
