Position Information:The Paramedic in the Level One Trauma Emergency Department (ED) functions as a member of the ED team and is responsible for providing quality patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse, ED Providers, and ED Nurse Techs. Performs all selected procedures and tasks outlined and approved for paramedics by the North Carolina Office of EMS and the North Carolina Board of Nursing. The ED Paramedic must demonstrate the ability to understand, communicate and react effectively and appropriately to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.#LI-Post
Experience Requirements:2 Years Clinical - Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic Preferred
Education Required:Graduate Paramedic Required - And Associate's Degree Emergency Medical Science Preferred
Licensure/Certification Requirements:Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic Required - And Basic Life Support Required - And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Required - And Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required
