About the Position
ChristianaCare is searching for a Perioperative Billing and Scheduling Coordinator to manage and provide direction of the day-to-day patient financial processes to capture patient charges and revenue at all surgical sites for both Christiana and Wilmington Campuses. This position will utilize the perioperative electronic systems and also provide ongoing management, evaluation, creation and implementation of billing processes for accurate charging. The Coordinator will also be responsible for ensuring the capture of revenue for ORs, PACUs, Anesthesia and other departments utilizing the perioperative financial/scheduling applications. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must to be successful in this role. Some responsibilities include:
Desired candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have completed a business college program in Office Administration, Secretarial Science, or a related field. Previous Supervisory experience in medical related field is also required. Preferred skills/experience include:
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
