The Division of Critical Care Medicine at Nemours Children's Hospital Delaware seeks a Board-eligible/Board-certified Pediatric Intensivist to join our team at Nemours Children's Hospital-Delaware in Wilmington. This physician will have direct involvement in patient care in our 24-32 bed pediatric ICU, including the management of patients with various medical, surgical, and trauma-related critical illnesses. Duties will include daytime clinical service and in-house nighttime call responsibilities, including overall direction of patient management, procedures, and education of residents, fellows, and other trainees. Physicians are expected to work closely and professionally with nursing and ancillary departments to maintain a teamwork approach to family-centered care.
Academic interests in research, informatics, quality improvement/patient safety, education, or administration/operations that supplement clinical expertise are required to optimize professional contributions locally and to help expand Nemour's impact on pediatric critical illness regionally and nationally.
