SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team. May focus on health promotion and disease prevention. May order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. May prescribe.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania required. National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania required. Relevant experience preferred.
