The role you’ll contribute:

• Assesses, plans, implementing and evaluates staff development activities for respiratory therapy services.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Collaborates with managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and
• tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
• Serves as a consultant for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional
• development.
• Participates in the coordination and continuity of orientation programs.
• Evaluates respiratory practice and treatment based on patient outcomes.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
• Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
• Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred
• Neonatal Pediatric Specialists (NPS) preferred
• Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred
