The ICU Clinical Coordinator reports directly to the ICU/DOU Director and overseen by the CNO. This position provides professional and technical skills to ensure safety, comfort, personal hygiene and the protection of patients in the provision of patient care. This position performs the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of safe, therapeutic care for patients. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient in the unit. Occasionally he/she will be expected to support other projects or assignments not directly related to his/her assigned departments. Complies and repo9rts a variety of statistics. This position also responsible for providing input for annual evaluation, orienting and training of new staff, assisting with job descriptions and maintaining the quality and quantity of work completed by the staff. The ICU Clinical Coordinator is responsible for promoting the positive image of the facility by effectively communicating and interacting with staff, physicians, patients, family and the community.

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the unit. Knowledge of growth and development over the life span. Knowledge of dysrhythmias and appropriate interventions. Must be able to communicate effectively, in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Acute care hospital experience in ICU preferred
• Masterâ��s Degree preferred
• Previous leadership or management experience preferred
• Current CA Registered Nurse license
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR
• Current American Heart Association ACLS

Pay Range: $51.18 - $81.91
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an employee�s qualifications and experience.
