On behalf of the Department Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation and the Department of Neurosurgery at OU College of Medicine and OU Health, in collaboration with the University of Oklahoma Medical Center’s ACS verified Level I trauma center, CareerPhysician, LLC, a leader in academic executive search, is pleased to announce the inception of a national search for outstanding candidates for the role of Faculty Physiatrist for the combined Spine and Trauma Programs. The selected physician will have the legacy opportunity of establishing a multi-disciplinary spine care and rehabilitation service for the state’s only ACS verified Level 1 trauma center and university-based spine program. With the strength of the departments and a firm commitment to faculty and fiscal resources, we believe the position to be among the top roles available in academic physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Qualified applicants must have completed an accredited PM&R residency program and be BE/BC in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Additionally, applicants must possess the training and experience necessary to obtain an unrestricted license in the State of Oklahoma. While previous leadership experience is preferred, OU Health is willing to provide leadership and professional development training to foster the success of all applicants.
