UCHealth has an excellent opportunity for a Full-Time General Surgery-Trauma Advanced Practice Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work for UCHealth Trauma & Acute Care Surgery- Memorial Hospital North-Level III Trauma Center.
*Variety - This position works with the trauma, acute care surgery team, sees Emergency Department consults, and participates in multi-disciplinary in-patient rounding on the hospital floors. There are regular clinic duties, and there may be occasional time in the OR.
*Schedule - Supports a work-life balance. No call required. We are a 24/7 service with weekend shift coverage required. Nights are not currently required at the North hospital but may become required as service continues to grow.
*Our Team - Is a collaborative and cohesive group that includes 7 Surgeons, and 3 APPs who thrive on providing the best surgical care in the region.
Preferred:*Two years of Trauma Surgery & Acute Care experience as either a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.*Full Prescriptive Authority is preferred. Provisional is accepted if Acute Care boarded.The pay range for this position is $48.37/hour - $69.12/ hour. Pay is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience.
