As the birthplace of the Nemours Healthcare System (formally the Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children) in Wilmington, Delaware, The Division of Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine is actively seeking a full-time Pediatric Pulmonologist to join our team at Nemours Children’s Hospital-Delaware in Wilmington. The Division of Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine currently consists of seven full-time pediatric pulmonologists, five of whom also practice sleep medicine. The medical team is supported by five advanced practice nurses, three specialty nurses, two administrative support staff, and one research coordinator.
Programmatically, the Division houses an accredited Cystic Fibrosis Center, an accredited Sleep Laboratory (5-beds) at the Wilmington, DE location, and an accredited Sleep Laboratory (3-beds) at the Deptford, NJ location, and multiple pulmonary function laboratories at the main campus and satellite locations. Flexible bronchoscopy services are provided as well. The Division also has an ACGME accredited Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship.

The Division of Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine serves as a regional referral center for children with a broad array of airway and breathing problems, as well as the center of the teaching program in pulmonary and sleep medicine for medical students and pediatric residents and post-doctoral fellows.
Academic appointment is awarded by Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University based on established professorial guidelines.
