Position Information:The Respiratory Therapist in the Respiratory Care Services department encompasses responsibility for administering respiratory care within the scope their scope of practice under a physician's order including, but not limited to, all types of oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, advanced airway management, arterial puncture and analysis, ECG's and mechanical ventilation of adult/geriatric patients. The Therapist plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of therapy, with communication to the physician and health care team. Experience Requirements:1 Year Clinical - Respiratory Therapy Required - In Clinical - Emergency/Trauma Preferred
Education Required:Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy Required
Licensure/Certification Requirements:Certified Respiratory Therapist Required - And Registered Respiratory Therapist Required - And Basic Life Support Required - And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Required - Within 30 Days of Hire And Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required - Within 30 Days of Hire And Neonatal Resuscitation Program Required - Within 30 Days of Hire
