Follows established standards, procedures, and practices, and gives specific patient care directions to nursing and other staff.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania requiredLicensed as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania requiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:Excellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to lift 25 poundsOccasional kneeling, pushing/pulling and reachingAbility to operate a personal computer and general office equipmentAbility to deal courteously with patientsAbility to maintain effective working relationship with other employeesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Certification in area of specialty preferredThis job description is a general outline of duties performed and is not to be misconstrued as encompassing all duties performed within the position.
