Summary

The Registered Nurse / RN using critical thinking skills coordinates and provides safe quality care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implimentation and evaluation. Registered Nurse / RN assists with organizing patient care activities as assigned.

Education

Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)

Certifications

Required: Registered Nurse Florida License

BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN ) ACLS (American Heart)(within 180 days for inexperienced RNs), Basic EKG, NIH STROKE(within 60 days of hire/transfer effective date), Trauma course or Critical Care Course within 6 months for inexperienced RNs

Candidates in unit have priority based on unit seniority
