General Description of the Job Class
Areas of responsibility may include adult, pediatric and neonatal populations. This clinical educator will report to the Manager, Pediatric / Neonatal and Manager, Adults Respiratory Care Services. Hours are flexible. The Clinical Educator will liaison with Respiratory Care team members and interdisciplinary partners in education promotion, simulation activities, quality and safety initiatives, and compliance / regulatory activities. The Clinical Educator will schedule orientation, assure account access for and onboard full time and agency staff. Works with assigned clinical specialty line team of clinical educators to meet the educational needs of the specialty. The educator will facilitate the adult learning process creating a climate that supports learning. Leads educational activities consistent with the standards of practice in the delivery of care and services in the assigned department. Assist the department leader with the educational operations and compliance standards.
Bachelor's degree required in a field related to the assigned clinical discipline.
A state license and registry are required based on the assigned clinical area.
