We are looking for a great team member to work closely with our providers and Medical Assistants to triage patients, assessing their needs and level of care based on signs and symptoms. In this role, you will help support our Medical Assistant and clerical staff as needed with orders and coordination of care among other duties. Position Summary:The MultiCare Rockwood Triage RN is responsible for providing safe and effective telehealth nursing triage, improved outcomes to care, integration of medical resources and information, determining the appropriate level of care, and enhancing access to care as determined by specific standardized telehealth protocols. The Triage RN serves as a role model and clinical resource to influence organizational standards related to patient safety and care delivery. The Triage RN functions in a multidisciplinary, collaborative environment, where critical thinking skills are used to interpret complex information and guide patients and families to health and well-being. In the clinic environment, there is an accountable relationship to the practice manager; for the role itself, this position reports to the Triage RN Manager.
Minimum Requirements:Three (3) years recent experience in outpatient or inpatient nursing requiredTwo (2) years recent telephone triage or related experience required
Education/Licenses/Certifications:Licensed as a professional nurse in the state of WashingtonBLS certification required
