Summary

Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner provides respiratory care to patients.
Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner performs all aspects of respiratory care to include diagnostic test of the cardio-pulmonary system
• Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner performs quality control on all respiratory care equipment to include I-STAT blood gas analyzers

Education

Required: graduate of an AMA accredited respiratory care program.

Certifications

Required: Possession of current State of Texas License/RRT; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
Preferred: RRT / Registered Respiratory Therapist
