Adventist Health Sonora is actively seeking a full time mission-minded Pulmonologist/Critical Care physician to work out of a hospital owned and operated clinic to serve the ever-growing need for our central California communities in Tuolumne and Calaveras counties.
The ideal candidate will be experienced, but new grads are encouraged to apply. An Ideal candidate has United States postgraduate/ACGME accredited training (Residency and Fellowship). The candidate should be ABIM certified in Pulmonary/Critical Care. Schedule is one week on and one week off. Clinic will be six days a week Monday through Saturday. Cover ICU all day on Sunday. On clinic days round in ICU with hospitalist in the morning then go to the clinic to see patients.
This position is employed through our affiliated medical group.
Sonora is an idyllic small town on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Fondly known as ???gold country,??? Sonora is ideally located within a few hours from Sacramento and San Francisco, close to Yosemite National Park.
Candidates must be BC/BE, be CA licensed or eligible and meeting the hospital???s medical staff credentialing standards.
