The community you’ll be caring for:

Clay County has relied on AdventHealth Manchester, formerly Manchester Memorial Hospital, in Kentucky since 1917. Today, our hospital in Clay County serves more than 60,000 patients every year, while staying true to our community-focused, patient-centric model of care.

The role you’ll contribute:

Provides direct and indirect specialized respiratory care services for patients. Communicates with physicians / team leaders / coworkers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

• Provides direct and indirect Respiratory Care to patients
• Communication with clinicians concerning patient’s condition and plan of care
• Document therapy as performed

Qualifications - External

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Respiratory Therapist with successful completion of AMA approved school for respiratory care (Required)
• RRT experience of one year.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (Required)
• Maintains active license with the Kentucky Board for Respiratory Care (Required)
• BLS certification (Required)
• ACLS (Preferred)
