Position Information:The Respiratory Therapist in the Respiratory Care Services department encompasses responsibility for administering respiratory care within the scope of practice under a physician's order including, but not limited to, all types of oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, advanced airway management, arterial puncture and analysis, ECG's and mechanical ventilation of adult/geriatric patients. The therapist plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of therapy, with communication to the physician and health care team. The staff Therapist understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, vision, and values in the management of patient care.
Experience Requirements:Clinical - Respiratory Therapy And/Or Clinical - Emergency/Trauma Preferred
Education Required:Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy Required
Licensure/Certification Requirements:Certified Respiratory Therapist Required - And Registered Respiratory Therapist Required - And Basic Life Support Required
Hours of Work:Rotating
Weekend Requirements:As Needed
Call Requirements:1 call shift per 6 week schedule
