New and Exciting Float Pool Program with Elevated Pay Rates: $54.49-$92.47 Depending on Tier & Years of Experience: Min 3 Years of Acute Care Experience Required: 5 Years of Acute Care Experience Preferred TIER 1 - MS\Tele\Preop TIER 2 - PCU\MS\Tele TIER 3 - ICU\PCU or ER\OCED or PACU TIER 4 - All Position Summary:System Float Pool RN's support the Puget Sound area adult hospitals filling a vital role taking assignments at Covington Medical Center, Auburn Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, Tacoma General and Allenmore providing coverage for leave of absences, sickcalls or surges in census. The RN-Float Pool provides clinical nursing care to assigned patients, performing related assessments, procedures and treatments, evaluations, patient care plan development/revisions, and education to patient and/or family. The RN-Floatputs the patient first and ensures that high quality care is given to assigned patients by following policies, clinical guidelines, safety systems such as medication scanning and bed alarm use, timely and accurate documentation, core measure compliance and serving as a patient advocate. The RN-Float makes providing an exceptional patient/family experience high priority. Emergency Room nurses will also be trained to cover the off campus ED's. Experienced nurses only float within their specialty.
Minimum Requirements:Two (2) years of experience required
Education/Licenses/Certifications:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing requiredBachelor's Degree in Nursing preferredBSN or an RN License with a signed agreement to complete the BSN within 3 years. RN licensure issued by Washington State to practice professional nursingRefer to CPR and ALS policy grid for requirements
