Your day.

As an ICU Nursing Director you need to know how to:

• Own responsibility for overall nursing operations management for the Intensive Care Unit


• Drive Quality Nursing Care while ensuring effective utilization of personnel


• Build a strong team through interviewing, hiring, coaching and counseling


• Develop and implement department goals, objectives and internal procedures, including those related to patient experience and satisfaction


• Develop budgets and quality metrics and  monitor adherence to same


• Serve as Stroke Coordinator and maintain Stroke Readiness


• Collaborate with peers, physicians and staff to achieve optimum care


• Communicate professionally and effectively with all stakeholders in adherence to our Mission, Vision and Values

Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require: 

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelorâ™s of Science degree in Nursing (BSN), required


• Masterâ™s degree in Nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration, or Business (or the ability to obtain in 3-5 years), required


• Current Montana RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain Montana RN license, required


• Current professional certification or willingness to obtain certification within 18 months, required


• Minimum of 3 years of nursing leadership experience in an acute care environment, required
