Carle Health is seeking a full-time, experienced BE/BC Pediatric Intensivist to join our established Pediatric ICU team in Urbana, Illinois.

 Practice Opportunity Details include:

• Flexible scheduling
• Leadership opportunity
• Established Pediatric Hospitalist and Pediatric ICU services
• New state-of-the-art PICU with up to 12 PICU beds
• Carle Foundation Hospital is a 453-bed Level I Trauma Center with Level III perinatal services
• Pediatric unit features 22 private rooms, 8 isolation and protective environment beds, fully equipped minor procedure room, family lounge, private child life area, and a teen recreation room
• 24/7 Transfer Center staffed with experts to facilitate inbound and outbound transfers
• Dedicated Pediatric Transport Team and vehicle
• Strong referral base with a service area of over 1.5 million people
• Large network of Pediatric subspecialties
• Ancillary staff includes pastoral services, child life specialists, therapy services, and social services
• Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation's first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering
• Unfortunately, this position does not qualify for a J1 visa waiver
