Coastal Carolina Hospital (CCH) is a 41-bed acute care hospital located at 1000 Medical Center Drive in Hardeeville, SC. Charge Nurse Med Surg ICU Full Time Rotating Position Summary
Supervises the work of assigned nursing personnel on appropriate floor. Assists in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling nursing activities. Responsible for providing high-quality patient care to, and acting as a liaison with, patients and their representatives, physicians, and employees. Serves as a clinical resource for other nursing staff on the unit. Responsible for the efficient operation of the department and optimum use of resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs.

THE CHARGE NURSE ICU FULL TIME ROTATING CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Education:
1. Bachelor�s Degree preferred.
2. South Carolina Nursing license or multi-state license from another compact state that is within the prescribed guidelines of the S.C. Nurse Practice Act.

Experience:
1. A minimum of one year experience in area of expertise.
2. One year management experience as a full-time or relief Charge Nurse preferred.

Other Qualifications:
1. Current BLS.
2. ACLS within 90 days
3. PALS preferred
