Summary Registered Respiratory Therapist / RRT is responsible for the skilled and competent delivery of Respiratory Care and Special Diagnostics Services ordered by a physician in accordance with established protocols set by the facility or other Health Care provider in the treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities associated with the Cardiopulmonary system. These services of Registered Respiratory Therapist / RRT may include but are not limited to: delivery of prescribed oxygen and aerosol therapy, pulse oximetry for oxygen titration, and administration and monitoring of all respiratory and therapeutic modalities which include aerosolized medications and arterial blood gas sampling
