Unit Description:
Our elite team of cardiologists diagnoses and treats a wide range of conditions including congenital heart defects and acquired heart conditions. We specialize in some of the most advanced, minimally invasive procedures that are designed to avoid open-heart surgery whenever possible. Our goal is to provide cutting-edge management of each patientâ™s condition throughout their lifetime to maximize their health and quality of life. We are home to a state-of-the-art hybrid catheterization laboratory where we perform some of the most advanced, minimally invasive, low-risk alternatives to surgery for the treatment of congenital heart disease in the country.
The role youâ™ll contribute:
The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age specific groups. Utilizes the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
