JOB DESCRIPTION
The Department of Pediatrics at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida, in Orlando, is seeking an innovative and highly-collaborative leader to serve as Division Chief of Critical Care Medicine.
The Division of Critical Care Medicine is an active clinical division consisting of 13 physicians and 6 APRNS with responsibilities not only in leading care in the 28 bed PICU, but also in the management of the Transport team, Respiratory Care, and Sedation Services. Division members are also actively engaged in clinical, quality and bench research, and in the residency training program leadership.
The successful candidate will be a nationally recognized academic leader with a substantial record of leadership, clinical and administrative accomplishments, education, scholarship and/or research productivity and teaching experience. We are seeking candidates with prior administrative and leadership experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively inspire, manage, mentor, and develop faculty & staff.
