The Department of Palliative and Supportive Care at Cleveland Clinic is seeking applicants for multiple, full-time clinical staff positions in a number of care settings. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, thriving palliative care team in the care setting aligned with the candidate’s clinical interests. Ideal candidates will be strong clinicians with an interest in professional development. Candidates must be BC/BE in Palliative Medicine and Hospice and eligible for medical licensure in Ohio.
Primary responsibilities include clinical care and teaching. Clinical responsibilities correspond with available positions in 3 care settings: inpatient consultative service at Cleveland Clinic’s main campus, outpatient clinic in Cleveland Clinic’s regional cancer centers, and home/facility practice with Cleveland Clinic’s community-based Palliative Care team. Education and training of Palliative Medicine fellows, other specialty fellows (including Hem/Onc, GynOnc, Medical/Neuro ICU, and ethics), residents, and medical students is a priority. A commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration, high quality palliative care, and outstanding communication skills are essential. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. Opportunities to participate in research and quality improvement are also available.
