RN Multi Specialty Unit PRN Days Position Summary
This is a PRN position on a busy inpatient unit that serves patients with a variety of complex diagnoses, including: A&D, GI, renal, pulmonary, ortho, hospice, and oncology.
Will be scheduled for 12-hour Day shifts based on the needs of the department including weekend shifts.
This role provides direct clinical patient care.
The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level.
The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated.
The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
RN Multi Specialty Unit PRN Days Candidate Will Possess the Following Education, License or Certifications, and Experience
Education: Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
Experience: At least 1 year experience as an RN in an acute care setting.
Licensure/Certification: Current RN license to practice in the state of TN. American Heart Association issued BLS certification. ACLS to be obtained within 90 days of hire date. CPI to be obtained during Hospital Orientation.
