WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Part-Time Advanced Practice Provider to meet the growing demand for Neuroscience Specialistsâ™ services at Franciscan Physician Network Neuroscience Specialists Indianapolis located in Indianapolis, IN. Â This new provider will be joining an established comprehensive Neuroscience practice of 14 providers total.Â This provider would help support 3 physicians within the Indianapolis office who specialize in Spine treatment within the Neuroscience department.Â Â
WHAT WE NEED:
Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience specializing in Rehabilitation, Neuroscience or Orthopedics with a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.Â Practice will consider new graduates with background that focuses on these specialties - NP working in a rehab unit as aÂ nurse, etc. or new PA graduates who took elective rotations in neurosciences.Â Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Provider will need to work collaboratively with multiple physicians to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. â“ 5:00 p.m.
Part-Time position at a 0.5 FTE
18 patient contact hours and 2 hours of administrative time
No Call Expectation
Focus on Spine working up new referrals, seeing patients in follow-up
Opportunity to perform procedures in clinic â“ will train as needed
Assist with growing volumes of pain pump patients by assessing and refilling medications
Average clinic volume: 15-20 patients per day with 15/30 minute follow-up appointments and 45 minute new patient consults
Position includes Â½ day per week managing the Spine Triage Acute clinic with focus on acute back pain patients and new referrals without spine work-up
Virtual visits may be utilized for outpatient consults
