Atlantic Health Systemas nationally recognized Gagnon Cardiac Rescue and Recovery Program, located at Morristown Medical Center is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner. Come join this team of amazing clinicians and take your career to the next level!
Advanced Practitioners for the cardiac rescue and recovery program involves providing advanced cardiac critical care services at the Morristown Medical Center. Care will include initial patient consultation and assessment and ongoing care throughout the patients stay in critical care. General responsibilities include examining patients, formulating diagnoses and developing a treatment plan for patients, performing technical, clinical and critical procedures, documenting patient progress. In addition, central lines and arterial lines/central line placement and the management of mechanical CV support is required.
Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements
Nurse Practitioner: BSN and MSN from an accredited school of nursing; successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program required
Physician Assistant: Physician assistant education program approved by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)
Previous experience in Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery with Critical Care Services required
Required Licenses and Certifications
DEA certification required, ACLS and BLS certifications
Physician Assistant: Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant
Nurse Practitioner: Current valid NJ State Nurse Practitioner License
Physician Assistant; New Jersey Licensure by passing the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE)
