As a Board-Certified Family Medicine physician with active privileges in Obstetrics, you would join our growing medical group as a practicing clinician and as a community preceptor for our Family Medicine Residency.
In this full-time position, you will primarily serve a panel of patients. You will also provide roughly 0.2 of FTE towards teaching and academic duties for the OHSU (Oregon Health Science University) Family Medicine Residency program, focusing on an outpatient clinic and inpatient obstetrical teaching and supervision of residents at our Beaverton Medical Office. The position offers an academic appointment at OHSU. Therefore, you would meet applicable standards for academic achievement. Responsibilities include teaching and supervising residents and the full range of professional duties of Northwest Permanente Medical Group physicians.
You would provide direct patient care to patients at least seven half days per week in the clinic and work in Labor and Delivery for a full day shift 2-4 times per month. You should have active, unrestricted obstetrical privileges and have completed at least 50 deliveries in the last two years or be a recent graduate from a Family Medicine Residency with a strong Obstetrics curriculum. In addition, you will have an MD or DO degree, graduate medical education in an ACGME-accredited Family Practice residency, and Board Certified in Family Medicine.
