ChristianaCare is hiring for a Nurse Practitioner to work on our psychiatric consult liaison service at our Cecil Campus in Elkton, MD. The qualified candidate would be a part of the care team for patients on the acute medical units providing consultation for psychiatric and addiction needs. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. The selected candidate will enhance the quality of patient care within the Behavioral Health service through the provision of consultative interventions in partnership with the treatment team . Patients are referred to the consult liaison service by the hospitalist teams when a significant behavioral health need is identified. The role of the consult liaison provider is to provider care to the patient as well as to provide support and education to the treatment team.
