Clinical Lead RN – Duke University Hospital – Pulmonary Stepdown (7800) Duke University Health System- Duke University Hospital seeks to hire a clinical team lead who will embrace our mission of Advancing Health Together.The Pulmonary Medicine Stepdown Unit is comprised of 28 beds, including 6 ventilator beds. Our patient population includes Advanced Lung Diseases (ALS), Pulmonary Hypertension, Cystic Fibrosis, Pre and Post Lung Transplant, Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis as well as a variety of medical diseases involving all the body systems.

Work ShiftsFull Time: FTE 1.0. 2 -12 hours shifts, 7a/7p day/night rotating and 2 – 8 hour administrative shifts. 36 hours per week. Includes up to 2 weekends/4 week schedule.
Job SummaryAs a Clinical Lead RN with Duke University Health System, you will work in coordination with the nursing leadership to ensure the work is accomplished effectively, requiring clinical and interpersonal skills. You will be the first line support for staff, physicians and other related providers on service-specific clinical issues. You will also support the unit when the manager is unavailable. You will be responsible for supervising, directing, coaching and mentoring assigned core group of staff.
